What to Expect From Your Floral Wedding Consultation

As exciting as it is to plan your wedding it can (let’s face it) also be a rollercoaster of emotion and stress. As someone who has worked with countless couples over the years and even planned my own wedding, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel sometimes.

From the budget to the guest list, the venue and catering, your wedding outfits, makeup artist, hair stylist, and entertainment…. With so many details to consider, planning your flowers on top of it all can feel like an impossible task. But don't worry, I'm here to help!

As your wedding florist, I understand the importance of making your big day truly unique, beautiful, special, and most importantly, stress-free! In this article, I'll guide you through what to expect from your floral wedding consultation, so you can begin our meeting feeling confident, prepared, and ready to plan the flowers of your dreams with me.

Step one: a floral consultation

The first step in this process is a phone call or face-to-face consultation. During this initial conversation, we'll discuss your vision for your wedding day, including the colors, theme, and preferred style. It's important for me to get a good understanding of your preferences and needs so that I can make recommendations that are tailored to you. If you’re not sure what you want yet, I recommend heading over to my article on how to prepare for your wedding consultation for some more tips and ideas.

Step two: your flower proposal

Once we've established your vision, I'll provide you with a detailed floral proposal and quote. This will include a breakdown of prices so that you can see exactly how much each arrangement will cost. The proposal will also outline the types of flowers that we'll be using, as well as any additional decor or styling elements that we'll be incorporating into the designs.

If there are any changes or edits that you'd like to make to the proposal, this is the time to do it. I'm happy to work with you to make any adjustments necessary until we've reached a final proposal that you're completely satisfied with.

Booking Your Date

Once you've decided to book the job, I’ll require a 20% deposit to secure your date and full payment within 28 days of the wedding. This ensures that I’ll be able to reserve the necessary flowers and materials for your wedding day so that everything runs smoothly.

The Big Day

Finally, it's time for the big day! On the day of your wedding, I’ll be on-site to deliver and set up your arrangements, ensuring that everything looks absolutely perfect. I take great care in delivering and setting up your flowers so that you don't have to worry about a thing.

And that’s it!

At the end of the day, my goal is to ensure that you have the most amazing wedding flowers that truly reflect your personality and style. I'll be there every step of the way to answer any questions or make any changes, and when the big day arrives, you can trust that I’ll deliver and set up your designs with the utmost care and attention to detail.

If you're ready to start planning your wedding blooms, please don't hesitate to reach out to me through my contact form. I'd be thrilled to hear from you and start talking all things flowers!
