Alex and Matt’s Summer Wedding at the Grange, Chedington
This stunning celebration took place at the picturesque Chedington Estate in West Dorset, a setting that perfectly complemented the natural, meadow-style florals that Alex and Matt had envisioned for their special day.
From the moment Alex and Matt shared their ideas with me, I knew that their wedding flowers would be something special. They wanted designs that felt organic and abundant, as if the flowers had grown naturally in the rolling Dorset fields surrounding Chedington Estate.
I absolutely loved the idea of creating something that not only complemented the landscape but also enhanced the ethereal atmosphere of their wedding day. I chose flowers that would evoke a sense of wild abundance and natural beauty, including grasses, delicate wild-like blooms, and lush greenery.
One of the highlights was undoubtedly the meadow-style arch we built on-site, which served as the centrepiece for Alex and Matt’s outdoor ceremony. The arch, brimming with flowers and verdant foliage, looked as though it had been lifted straight from a wildflower meadow.
The meadow-inspired design, with its soft violets and rich greens, created a harmonious blend with the estate’s surroundings, perfectly capturing Alex and Matt’s love for nature. Working with them was an absolute pleasure, and I’m so grateful to have played a part in their story.
Congratulations, Alex and Matt! Thank you for entrusting me with your wedding flowers and for allowing me to be part of your special day.
