It was such a pleasure to work on this beautiful wedding at Durlston Castle, just a stone's throw from where I grew up in Swanage, and where I recently opened my new florist shop, Tied.
Nature-loving Swanage local Ellie and her now-husband Andrew were engaged on the stunning coastal path leading to Durlston Castle, so it was the natural choice for them to marry here, surrounded by the forest and the sea.
With a vision to harmonize with the breathtaking surroundings, we created a series of floral designs featuring white blooms punctuated with blues and tiny touches of yellow, echoing the outdoors. We brought this vision to life with blousy white roses, locally-grown blue delphiniums, textural eryngium, dainty tansy daisies, phlox, ammi, and plenty of seasonal greens.
Floor meadows lined the length of the aisle for Ellie and Andrew's ceremony in the Castle Gallery Room. These later transitioned to the base of the dining tables, which were adorned with alternating low-footed bowls and groupings of bottles overflowing with florals.
Huge congratulations to Ellie and Andrew, and thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding florist!
